Our firm recently tried a motor vehicle case in Queens County. The defendant refused to pay any money claiming that our client was speeding and ran a red light. Our contention was that the defendant made an improper left turn and went through a ready light. The defendants had a passenger who testified that our client went through a steady red light and was speeding. In spite of the unfavorable witness we were able to convince the jury that our client was not at fault and that the defendant made an improper turn and went through a red light.
The jury found in favor our client and found the defendant 100 per cent at fault. As a result client was able to collect $250,000.00 in damages.
After the trial I spoke with the two jurors who stated that my advocacy was instrumental in convincing them to rule in favor of my client.
